about

The chug-a-long feel of the drums and bass in this one was inspired directly by the song "Time to Move On" by Tom Petty. I'm a big fan of that song and I wanted to emulate that feel as much as possible on this recording.

lyrics

I don't know why you always lead me away from
only seconds of anger
I'm in no hurry to leave
It's in my land, it's in my sky, it's in my ocean
It's in the path of my emotions
I'm in no hurry to leave
No one is safe when you decide
to bury a stone when there's mountains to hide
But can I come over?
Can I come in?
Look, mama, let's just be friends

I don't know why you always lead me away from
only seconds of anger
I'm in no hurry to leave
Take my pride, take my bullheaded foresight
I'll still give a good fight
I'm in no hurry to leave

No one is safe when you decide
to bury a stone when there's mountains to hide
But can I come over?
Can I come in?
Look, mama, let's just be friends
Oh look, mama, let's just be friends

You will ride the high road
I will pave my own road
You will ride the high road
I will pave my own road

about

"[His new albums] 'Lost In Love' and 'Tanglings' are phenomenal offerings. It's almost unfair that Ludwig — formerly leader ... more of the Rock group Noctaluca — was able to produce two full-lengths as good as these (most people would die for one in a lifetime)."
